Timetable: Thursday Session 9: 16:30-17:15, Terrace Room
Description:
Last season on the detective’s playground, participants pieced together the evidence, revealing new possibilities for inclusive design and development. This year, we invite participants to follow the trail further, using last year’s discoveries as a guide to explore new pathways, venturing beyond familiar routes to explore inclusivity as a creative, exploratory, and playful practice.
This interactive session builds on insights and outcomes from our 2025 workshop, using them as a map for deeper exploration. Together, participants will review key learning from the previous session and co-create a practical template to support ongoing inclusive design and development in their own contexts. With an aim of reframing the positioning of inclusivity as a matter of compliance, reaction, or box-ticking, to an imaginative, dynamic and playful process that embraces diversity as a source of innovation.
This session encourages participants to step off the well-trodden path and into a space of curiosity, experimentation, and shared discovery. Through playful collaboration, participants will surface ideas, challenge assumptions, and develop a resource to help transform experiences for everyone. By the end of the session, participants have reviewed and reflected on the outcomes from 2025 and co-created an adaptable template to guide future inclusive practice.
