Description:
This will be an informal networking session for attendees trained in Lego Serious Play (LSP) to share ideas, problems and techniques and to see whether there is interest in creating a community of practice across UK HE for Lego Serious Play facilitators. If there is enough interest, we will explore how to keep in touch after the conference and share ideas, create a mailing list or similar. As far as I know, no community of practice exists currently, a few years ago there were a few of us who got together to talk about our experiences but this was during the pandemic and we were all a bit busy. Now there is new training currently being offered for LSP in Higher Education by Alison James, so it would be great to build a network to collaborate and share resources. LSP can be tricky to run in universities where staff are time poor and resource poor – LSP can (although it does not need to) demand considerable time and require a lot of bricks. By sharing resources and experience some of the barriers to running LSP with both students and staff in UK HEIs could be overcome.
