Description:

In this session, I will explore how creating simple books and pop-up cards using paper and card can support a playful approach to learning. I will share how books and pop-up cards can be used to support sequencing processes, plan assignments and consider future career paths. After a brief introduction, attendees will be invited to make a simple book and a pop-up card. Attendees will be able to select the type of book or pop-up card to make from a range of choices. The plenary will give attendees the time to reflect on how the playful tools used in the session can be used in their own contexts.
