Welcome to the Playful Activity Library! We invite you to explore this curated collection of active, playful activities designed for use in adult education settings. This library supports our playful learning community by showcasing inspiring practices, sparking new ideas, and encouraging collaborative connections. This project was initially funded by a Durham Centre for Academic Development (DCAD) Innovation Grant: Zine making as a pedagogical tool for transformative learning in Law in November 2022. Our overarching aim was to facilitate transformative learning by helping students to connect decades of feminist theory with contemporary issues relevant to their individual experience and perspectives.
Our teaching resources suggest how you might want to run a zines seminar there is also a link to our zines A-Z which is crammed full of ideas for zine pages. There is also a gallery of zines from our zine-fest which may be useful for inspo.
